What connector to use to connect power wire to positive terminal?
Q. Hi im installing a system in my car, but i ran into a problem. The connector they provide in my wiring kit is a ring connector. My cars battery has the terminal on the side, not the top. When i put the ring connector on, i cant screw on the positive terminal to the battery. What would be a good solution to this problem? Thanks in advance! :)

A. There's a battery connector sold for the side post batteries, but you can just strip your of you power wire, separate the exposed wire in half then put one half of one side of the battery cable and the other half on the other side then screw it onto the battery. I did this with one of my friend's cars because he didn't feel it necessary to spend on the other option.

A. Use GNU screen. Example: screen -S myprog (you're now in the screen) ./myprogram # press ctrl-a-d to detach from screen. Whenever you want to resume the screen: screen -x myprog Now that's just ONE simple use of screen. You can have multiple people share the same screen, make multiple windows in a single screen. It's extremely powerful, I suggest you explore it more (see sources for examples).

A. It's not really a question of air pressure, but air density. The formula for finding the terminal velocity v_t of an object of mass m, accelerated by a gravitational acceleration of g, with cross-sectional area A and drag coefficient Cd, moving through a fluid with density rho is v_t = sqrt[(2 m g)/(rho Cd A)]. What we call air pressure is basically the weight per unit area of a column of air extending from the ground into space. Because air is compressible, a higher air pressure corresponds to a higher air density, and so the terminal velocity in an environment where the air pressure is different from one atmosphere will be different from normal.
